SIAI Announces 2024 Graduates

The Gordon School of Business (GSB) under Swiss Institute of Artificial Intelligence awarded degrees to four students in September 2024.

The graduating students and their dissertations were:

• Hyoung-Keun Kown, MSc AI/Data Science, Fiscal Games in Overlapping Jurisdictions | Swiss Institute of Artificial Intelligence
• Yeonsook Kwak, MBA in AI (STEM), Sleep State Detection Method by Data-generated likelihood | Swiss Institute of Artificial Intelligence
• Sungsu Han, MBA in AI (STEM), Forecasting Demand for Public Bicycling in Seoul to Optimize Bike Repositioning at Rental Stations | Swiss Institute of Artificial Intelligence
• Donggyu Kim, MBA in AI (STEM), How is Korea’s Blood Supply Maintained? - Effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Blood Shortage Periods, and Promotions on Blood Supply Dynamics | Swiss Institute of Artificial Intelligence

The graduating dissertations were reviewed by the Mathematical Data Science Association, chaired by Professor Hoyong Choi of the KAIST School of Business and Technology Management.

The 2024 Best Paper of the Year was awarded to Yeonsook Kwak for 'Sleep State Detection Method by Data-generated likelihood'.
