Unlike typical coding classes in Engineering department, the Scientific Programming is mainly focused on how to program mathematics and statistics. The basic math & stat and from other courses in Term 1 and Term 2 will be represented in programming.

Note that this course is not to train students for a software engineer. This course is not provided by Engineers nor support students’ future engineering career.

The course is a part of scientific training. By re-writing math & stat in coding script, students are expected to build a logical tunnel between mathematical symbols and programming codes.
