SIAI and MDSA Establish Joint Dissertation Committee

In March 2023, the Swiss Institute of Artificial Intelligence and the Mathematical Data Science Association entered into a three-year academic cooperation agreement to jointly operate dissertation committees for students enrolled in the MSc in AI/Data Science and MBA in AI programs.

Under the arrangement, graduating dissertations are reviewed with the participation of the Mathematical Data Science Association, providing an additional layer of academic assessment for SIAI’s graduate programs.

The Mathematical Data Science Association is chaired by Professor Hoyong Choi of the KAIST School of Business and Technology Management.

The agreement covers dissertation reviews conducted from 2023 through 2026.
