Master of Science (MSc)

To support your research in AI/Data Science

Master of Science (MSc) is different from Arts, Business (MA, MBA, respectively) majors in that it emphasizes scientific methods and fosters research abilities. Both of our MSc programs require admission exams in elementary or advanced regression analysis, which is a composition of linear algebra, differential equations, and statistical analysis. Candidates without strong backgrounds in mathematical statistics are recommended to try MSc AI/DS (2 year) in the first year, and go onto MSc AI/DS (1 year) in the following year.

MSc in AI/DS (1 year)

MSc Artificial Intelligence / Data Science (1 year) – MSc AI/DS (1 year) – is SIAI’s flagship masters program that emphasizes mathematical modeling in computational science, which is also known as Artificial Intelligence. The program trains students to be top-notch researchers in the field by combining theoretic knowledge with business applications. Only candidates either qualify MSc AI/DS (2 year) with 60% and above, or same level of performance in the admission exam are admitted. (Available from September 2023)

MSc in AI/DS (2 year)

MSc Artificial Intelligence / Data Science (2 year) – MSc AI/DS (2 year) – is a gap year MSc program that is more inclined to business applications with less sophisticated mathematical modeling than MSc AI/Ds (1 year). Students applying for MSc AI/DS without outstanding qualifications are offered for this program to strengthen scientific fundamentals. Applicants to MSc AI/DS (2 year) also require to qualify the entrance exam with 60% and above. Students without math background are welcomed to try MBA in AI/BigData.
